You are close. We used the Sony Net Share, but I cheated on the audio. I mic'd him up with an Olympus digital voice recorder. I knew that I would have audio issues during many parts of it since we were going to be outside, so I chose that route and added the track to the video. We are going to explore the wireless mic option for future use. This was a good learning experience for all of us since the weather added a new dimension for us.

We ordered four Flips and are getting the waterproof case as well. We are headed to a state park for a weekend with the same science teacher to make podcasts as we canoe down the river. The flip will work best for this, but I have to figure out the audio part still. He might can just voice over when we get back.

Thanks for the comment. I will share it with him.

What a great teachable moment for a science teacher. Love the quote "You can't get away from science" (or something like that). Scott, I'm assuming you didn't use the Flip for this because the audio was great -- wireless mic perhaps? Should have had a snowball fight! Good job!
